“1950” is our classic oil, obtained from more mature olives harvested starting from the first days of November. The advanced maturation of the olives makes “1950” a balanced oil with a medium-light level of bitterness and spiciness. In the kitchen, it is versatile and suitable for multiple uses, from cooking, including frying, to condiments.
In 1950, together with the mill, the first Gaudenzi oil was also born, which for decades was the only oil produced by Vittorio & co.
With the arrival, years later, of the other lines, the need was felt to give its own identity also to that oil that for years was simply called Gaudenzi oil.
Hence the name 1950, an oil made according to the traditional canons of our area: olives harvested strictly after November 2nd.
